Double recurrence for actions of amenable groups |

I will show how Austin's machinery of sated extensions can be used
to find characteristic factors for weighted double ergodic averages
over amenable groups. The consequences include a lower bound in the
corresponding double recurrence theorem and a two-sided density
version of Hindman's theorem in minimally almost periodic groups.
