I will discuss a necessary and sufficient condition for almost-flat manifolds with cyclic holonomy to admit a Spin structure.
This condition is quite practical to check given a finite presentation of the fundamental group of the almost-flat manifold.
In particular, I will discuss how it applies in dimensional 4.
