Nielsen Periodic Point Theory on Infra-nilmanifolds |

As a generalization of Nielsen fixed point theory, Nielsen periodic point theory has already extensively been studied on tori and nilmanifolds. Some of the results on these spaces can be straightforwardly generalized to infra-nilmanifolds, but in general some problems can occur. We will discuss some new results, point out some potential problems and, under some extra assumptions, we will show that these problems can be fixed.
